Join the fun of NFCC's Community Theatre

Whether one desires the spotlight or enjoys being part of the backstage crew, the Community Theatre of North Florida Community College has opportunities for students and community members alike. At least one major production is held each year, and auditions are open to the public. Participants gain experience in acting, directing, lighting, set design and other areas of the theater.

Featuring an amazing cast and crew full of local stars! A special family production featuring NFCC’s Community Theatre. Disney’s The Lion King has captivated the imagination of audiences around the world. The African Savannah comes to life on stage with Simba, Rafiki and an unforgettable cast of characters as they journey from Pride Rock to the jungle... and back again, in this inspiring, coming-of-age tale.

The Curious Savage (comedy)

April 27 & 28, 2018 | 7 PM

The eccentric Mrs. Savage is left 10 million dollars by her late husband and wants to make the best use of it. Her wish is to use the money to help others realize their dreams, but her grown stepchildren will do anything to keep her from squandering away "their" money in such a manner, so they have her committed to a sanatorium in an effort to get the money. With the help of Mrs. Savage's new friends, she leads the stepchildren on a merry chase, and learns the true meaning of family in the process.

The Savage Dilemma (comedy)

June 8 & 9, 2018 | 7 PM

The lively sequel to “The Curious Savage,” one of the most beloved and widely performed plays of the modern theatre. All the wonderful, zany characters of the original play are together again and involved in a delightful new series of hilarious misadventures with, as before, the indomitable Mrs. Savage saving the day.
